It has been a dream
and a decade of inquisitiveness, and personal research that has put
me in touch with the organisation known as ExtrudeHone who carry out
this unique porting and polishing service.
In 1993 I went on to build a successful metal roofing company, still
maintaining my contact with the ExtrudeHone Corporation and after a
few years in August 2002 I spoke to Mr. Don Harshman and said that I
would like to bring this specialised service to Australia - can it be
done? After much deliberation I received the call with the answer that
I had been waiting for, "lets do it" and from then on the
wheels began to turn.
In November 2002 I was able to revisit ExtrudeHone corporation and also
taking my wife to embark on gaining the knowledge and skills that go
hand in hand to building a more successful relationship with ExtrudeHone
and to bring the tools of knowledge back to Australia and begin ABRASIVE
FLOW ENGINEERING.
ABRASIVE FLOW ENGINEERING, a company based in western Sydney is offering, automated abrasive flow machining service to the public. Our aim is to provide a facility that will be able to process (polish / machine) nearly every commercially available model of intake and exhaust manifold, engine cylinder head and turbo housings...
